New Members / Watchout for Lightnings

There are so many new members on the site, I am concerned you may think the Lightning is not a very worthy oponent....it is. I found out first hand in late 2005, the following is my post that fateful night.......I MODDED a little after that day

So there I was taking my son and two of his buddies to the Spring Nationals on the other side of Columbus yesterday. We had just filled up with gas and munchies when up pulls a very nice White Lightning Truck. I could see and hear he had done a few MODS to his beast, and as luck would have it we were stopped at a light side by side. It's what all of us live for ( dream of ). I was not taking any chances, with my pride on the line in front of the fella's I nailed it right off the line. There was no slip...cept my sons choc-cola as I pulled out in front by about half a car length. But that was about the extent of my glory. This guy passed me up and was ahead by about a truck and a half after three blocks. Then shame rushed over me, the humility not to mention the fact I risked the lives of these 3 kids. But my biggest concern was the fact I just knew when we got home my son was going to tell his mom how I drove her 2005 Caravan and I would never be able to drive it again.

Shortly after this I debadged....removed "Soccer Moms Rules" sticker, Tinted the windows, Added a set of Kleen Wheels, added XM and a DC converter for an X-Box....the Van doesn't run any better, but losing in it.......does not seem so bad Have a great day!

I did pick up at the dealer one of those cooler & heater units for that in-cabin lunch feeding.......and she wears the pants for sure............say's it gives her a bit more scrote room
