Just thought I'd share. Yes, it's the real thing...all aluminum...freight train issue. Chrome tank with a low pressure switch to keep the compressor running only when necessary. Will definately rattle your teeth!:D

I have the big triple train horns on the Dually (not the real train horns like his). With a 5 gallon air tank and a Viair 550C compressor. I have a regular air chuck coupler in the wheel well so I can fill tires or run an impact or a die grinder.

It is insanley loud and will make people jump every time I blow them.

I was over a mile from my house and blew them and my daughter said they were loud and clear.

PUT A PRESSURE SWITCH THE PUMP WILL CYCLE AND YOU WILL LOVE IT I HAVE THEM TIED INTO MY ALARM AND WITH A BUTTON

MY BAD YOU HAVE IT TOO I HAVE THE SAME SETUP VERY MUCH WORTH WHAT I SPENT IN FUN FACTOR

To cool,

I will definently keep this in mind, not a big fan of the weak horn thats on the truck now. Had some 30 inch horns off a semi on an old 64, sure looked bad but the sound was great:star:

Good idea tying them into the alarm. I have the compressor tied into a pressure switch. The air tank is full at all (160lbs) times and the horns blow with a solenoid. I have a switch mounted on the center console that is lighted and when it is up position, the compressor is on and the horns will blow with a button mounted above the switch. Center is off and down the compressor is on and the horns will not blow.

kool how much is that set up aprox?

Here's the bad news...unless you have a connection with the RR...these are unavailable to the general public....:(

I was told that the RR pays $1,000.00 for a set....:dontknow: I purchased the compressor and chrome tank used from a friend. Whole set-up....est. cost....around $1,400.00.:2in1: ...btw, I have a pushbutton located in my "pocket" under the a/c controls so it's well hidden from "Mr. Occifer" and the factory horn is still connected independently.

Hey we have wizzy mister RR him self lol maybe he will set up a group buy .. ill put on one my work van :)

I think they'd fit on my Focus!!:D :D

How much HP to wheels do you get with them facing aft?

You can buy them at Pilot truck stops in chrome for around $170 with compressor, but guys I have to say , and take no offense please! But on our trucks? its jsut gey!LOLOL:D

Tony,

The ones I have are not like the Pilot ones. They are beefier and the compressor is a Viair 550c.
I originally got this done for $489.00 through a company called MYPushCart (860-659-1288) on Ebay, the owners name is Eric. He made a mistake originally and qouted me a very low price that was under his cost. He honoured that price and delivered everything that he quoted me on. At the original quoted price. He is a stand up guy to deal with. I have bought many other things from him and it has all been good.

He has a 3 Train horn setup with compressor and air tank for less than 290.00, this is a good deal. Tell him that Jack sent you.

I have the 5 horn setup and the 350c 100% duty compressor and 5 gallon tank. I haven't installed yet. Hoping to this week.
