This week I was feelin a little frisky and decided to install a B&M short shifter, and deleted my cats, all 4. All I can say is..............WOW!!!!!!


It wont hurt for the cats to be removed without a tune will it?

Nice! I want to delete my cats as well...I don't think deleting them will hurt anything...you'll just drive harder to hear that awesome sound!

I removed mine about 2 years ago, and I'm still running the factory tune with no problems, other than my rear tire wearing out prematurly!:burnout:

i might have to look into that for my baby. So you didnt have to use O2 sims? Your not getting any check engine lights or anything? I know some guys that remove the cats get them thats why i ask. I wonder why some get the codes and others dont. Perhaps somebody could chime in on that......

I went ahead and put in the plug foulers while I was workin on it. so far so good. Driving to the gtg at the gap tommorow will know more then though.

i believe he meant non-foulers...you use them on spark plugs so you dont foul them....same principle with the o2..if you use the non-foulers on ur o2's them it wont throw codes...

Yes your right I meant plug non-foulers. Heres A video clip of how it sounds. And yes I did let it get to normal operating temp first. It is idle, 2k rev, then 2 4k revs and back to idle.

Cat delete is by far the best hp mod for the money.....

Now get a Borla (no cat) cat back... Sounds awesome......

Just got the Cats deleted today, well the rear taken off and the fronts gutted so that it will appear I still have some, damn the state of Texas. It sounds so good and I'm waiting for my B&M as well Must have been a cloud of friskyness, lol. The Anti-Fowlers are working great also!! Oh and thanks to Stinker and Moparracing for the anti-fouler info!!! Here's a link with images on how to do the anti-fouler trick.

Yep. Basically they keep the O2 sensors out of the flow of the exhaust.
