howdy yall im a new srt-10 owner. been lurking round the forums for a minute now. i own a 05 srt-10 manual regular cab.this is my first TRUCK second car. i just upgraded from a 5.0 mustang. but i wanted to find out more about the performance market for srt-10s. does anyone make stroker kits. and id appreciate it if you guys could post links and or contact info for parts dealers. and im 20 yrs young

Welcome. Modification of our trucks is an addiction, and a very costly one.

Figure $7k for the first second, another $12k for the next second. Then the cost really begins to get steep! If you want to be in the 10's you will move into the six figure range (total investment), and if you want to go below 10 (which has not been done yet), you are talking six figures that start with the number 2.

Moving a square box that weights over 5000 lbs is not an inexpensive project.

Have a ball, plan your work and then work your plan. Begin with a goal in mind with the cash in hand.

Welcome dude.............Prof said it well,very good advice there. No such stroker kit...........but if you have a BIG bag of money you can stroke it......................and I mean a BIG bag...........think Wynn Hotel big!!! LOL Or for about $12k you can SC and have a really fun rig.

I think you'll find these trucks are quite fun, but they ain't cheap to mod like a 5.0...:dontknow:


What year was your Mustang?

I had an '85 GT; '93 Cobra (Supercharged), and a '95 Cobra R (5.8 liter) over the years. The '93 was my favorite.:rock:
