Played with the drag radials some more today. Still have mixed results with them. As the the title states I did get a new personel best time of 14.13 @ 98.84 with a 60' of 2.17. DA was 6000'. Best air I have had so far.

I tried launching just off idle and got my worst time of the day. So I stuck with 2000 rpm's. Today I had high 2.1 to low 2.2 60's, better than yesterday. I think I am just power limited on the times. I say this because all of my corrected times are 12.9 to 13.1 which is where it should be. I don't think I have the power to get a harder launch:dontknow:

Heat those tires up properly (with a line loc) and leave at 4500 RPM, it will hook like a bitch and give you a 60' in the 175/180 range.
Ahh Shit, I just noticed you got a QC not a RC (Race Truck)

At least I will look good getting the groceries:D

The line lock is on my wish list as well as a set of cryoed spider gears. I don't have any problems with the spider gears yet, but I am getting close to blowing them up.

What are the symptoms of spider gears having issues? I do not do too many burnouts because I worry about this.:dontknow: Line Lock is also on my wish list.

If you start spinning only one rear wheel you are having issues.

Well with that being said I guess I am having issues. After this last time from the track there is more rubber on the one side of the truck. Telling me one side is spinning more than the other. Looks like no more racing until I get that fixed.

Nice run, damn, I should have raced sunday, with that DA I would have been in the 13's! ;) was also nice meeting you.

That first run down the track I was thinking I bet Git Bit is gonna be pissed. No doubt you would have gotten into the 13's.

Here are some pics from earlier in the year.

Great shots dude...........love those mountains. How soon till snow comes along and your cummins wins over the 10 as your daily driver?

Thanks. It snowed about a week ago during the night. Just a skiff. Usually we have some snow just before Halloween. It usually melts off in a couple days. Last year we didn't have any real snow that stuck to the ground untill after Christmas. It is pretty dry in this part of the state. But for the most part I was able to drive the truck year round.

think you must look at how much "more" rubber per side... with our 40% ?? locks i think it's normal one wheels start to spin and so the lock engages the other... so always a bit more rubber on a side ? :dontknow:

I did some more searching and am probably alright. But I don't want to break anything that can be avoided with some preventive maintenance.

You gotta get out of the high altitudes, then you will get great numbers.
I hear you there. Looks like the closest track to me is in Idaho Falls. Firebird Raceway is around 2500' and a little over 500 miles. Plus I think we have a member that lives there.

I thought you lived in Arizona not Ida HO:p :D

But the track in Arizona is interesting too. Twice as far but it might be arranged.
