Im that case... Why arent you in one now. The Trucks are perfect for daily drivers it just when you add power you have to upgrade stuff.. just like any other vehicle. but like my buddy steve said changing to a gm solenoid is a good preventive measure

How much are asking for it?
I kind of wanted to keep the truck stock. Just maybe add a cold air intake.
But I will change all the lines you guys are talking about and change that solenoid to a gm.

I hear ya bud. Stock is the way to go... Next to nitrous cause its stock until you press the button!!
 
does anyone recommend a certain year or a certain mileage I shouldnt go over on a purchase??
 
Well no different than any other vehicle... Put it yo you this way. Some ppls truck I would buy with 80,000 miles, others I would not buy even though they may have only 20,000 on it. It's all about the owner and how knowledgable they are and how much they took care of the truck
 
Get a 2005, the interiors are way better than the 06:D . I found my 05 in June of 09, it had 1400 miles on it and had never been titled so it had the full manufacture warranty. I paid 28.4K for it and sold it for 29K with 4500 miles :laugh::elefant:
 
i bought mine site un seen with 84k miles on it. had a member on here go drive it. basically wanted it just for the interior because we were re-doing everything anyway. motor ran excellent, didnt use oil. you could tell it wasnt beat on. stinker is using the motor i think for his NA project. just check out the truck and drive it. justlike any other truck youd buy.

Let me know if you are local, I would want 26k out of it. It is in very good condition always waxed and taken care of. I am very particular when it comes to my vehicles. The bed is also sprayed with liner and all records are available.

That's what i'm trying to explain to the wifey. Because i told she i would keep the CE stock.:D
