new Ram Viper ?

I was writing this thread to see if there has been any loose talk about a new viper truck of any sort with the supposed new 600hp v-10 ? I would sign up for one of these things in a heartbeat , I personally am a little hesitant to believe they are going to do it unless they are selling them for over or around $70k bucks ... I read an article on the new eingine and it sounds so solid . Start saying a prayer for our favorite new toy to come back better than ever !

I have heard from *friends* that there will be an SRT-8 truck, but no V-10 besides the viper car.

The 2008 Viper is 600 horsepower, mine is 845...700 at the wheels. Its also A LOT less expensive than what you would pay if you wanted a 600 horse version...which of course isnt gonna happen in the truck since they stopped making them.

In a straight line? I was faster than all but one Viper (A henesey 650R) including GenII GTSs' and a GenIII convert at Bandimere two months ago. I agree the Viper will perform better on a road coarse (I'd like to see how my truck stands with one) but its very competitive with a stock or slightly modded Viper in a straight line.

The Mopar Connection, took all kind's of viper's when we went to Fontana..3 other people saw this happen, one was my wife 2 was RedRamRules (Juan) and 3rd but not the last.....Buckee aka: The Mopar Connection.....he took there asses Bad! some even have SC, and he didn't! So, i think the truck's can get those Viper car!

What is Fontana - Road Course or Drag Strip?:dontknow:

Regardless of the type of racing you're doing, it ALL depends on the driver.

If you're talking drag racing, then the time in my sig is factory stock.
