This truck looks really sweet. Did you know it came with traction bars? When are they going to drop the 6.4 in this truck?

I seriously don't think DC would go with another 10 production. But a 6.4L would be a damn awesome thing to see. Slap on an SRT badge, toss in a 6 speed and they'll have a customer in me.

Those are not traction bars as we know them. All part of the coil spring link system. I have them on my 09 4x4.

I could see Dodge doing an SRT-8 with the 6.4 at some point. They make an "Express" model now. Not very well known. It only comes in RC. It can be ordered with no power options, no carpet, EVIC, center console.... However you can upgrade the gears, get the color keyed bumpers, "dual" exhaust, 20" wheels and the Hemi. So you end up with a "light" truck, and basically no options but the 5.7 390HP Hemi. It is also "cheap" due to the lack of options.

As for the pic of the R/T above... 09 and 10's look the same other than the 22's that you see on the 11 above. All sport model RC 2 wheel drives are R/T's. R/T's come with a slightly more agressive exhaust, different torque converter grill and 4.10s along with other cosmetic stuff that you see. 0-60 around 5.7.

I stand corrected. Sure looks like a similar Caltrak set-up.

Personally, I think they should offer the 6 speed as an option. I would definitely go the automatic route.

I doubt we'll ever see another Viper powered truck. But, the 6.4L would be sweet. And if Chrysler can put an auto with it that can hold together, I think that would be cool as well. Also, I think the truck would look good with the Challenger SRT-8 wheels, maybe 22 inchers. And why not include a "real" Dana 60 with a selectable locking rear diff? Does anybody know if Chrysler is using the NAG1 autos with the 6.4L? If they are, that's a good thing.

Its ok. But, I'll keep my 10 over a 6.4L.

For the uniqueness or the power? A 6.4 in a new Ram would be VERY close, if not even to a stock SRT. Certinly keep up with a stock QC. The 6.4 is 470/470 in the Chally, so expect that, if not a little more in the Ram. And the new 4th gen is a little lighter.

Some info 4200lbs and 4.6 0-60.

And I have always been parital to the V8 sound.

Stock [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFhFWWMzsA0[/ame] Full exhaust (sorry could not find a 392 yet) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDVh42sIB6c[/ame]

Now with all that said my SRT is waiting for the day grandpa pulls up next to me in a SRT 392 Chally and thinks he will take me :)

Because I am partial to the V10 sound. My truck sounds like a super car!
And, because, at 5 years old, my truck still gets tons of attention. And, to this day I have never been bored driving it.
These trucks just interest me more than any other. When I first saw my original truck, I was in awe! Like never before,or since. Who knows what the future holds....but the new ram, nice as it is, does'nt even make me think twice. I like my 10. I cant wait to drive my 10,again , and again. Nuff said.
