NEW SHIFT KNOB..

I bought a new shift knob a few months ago. I was wondering if anyone else had this and what you think about it.
I love the feel and look...and the price is good too.
I have a red 04 and I bought the polished chrome viper head with red background.

I got the chrome with the red background to match the red truck. It really is a nice piece. Good feel and looks to boot.

Is this a two piece shift handle or is the shaft part of the ball?

I have seen this shift knob from MGW. Looks like a nice peice!

I put a White Hurst 6 speed shift knob on, Like it better then the stock one.

Mine came as a 2 piece with the knob screwing on, and the bottom nut screwiwng up, to hold it tight and in place.(does this sound like a porn story?):dontknow:

I have a funny story about that.. I had just come back from Norway after being away for a month. I drove her to the local mall. When I attempted to reverse her out of a parking space the gear would NOT go into reverse no matter how I tried. I couldn't help but to panic a bit because it wasn't the best part of town for that thing to be stuck in. I called z-man to ask him what the symptoms were when the tranny in one of his RCs was bad. He said it wouldn't go into reverse. I was like, "Oh great, now what?" Well, he asked if I tried putting it in reverse. I said yeah. Then he asked how. Turns out I was putting it in sixth not remembering R was to the far right and up. I felt like a dope. But still, it's because I don't have the shift map on the ball. :dontknow: Oh well..

Right it down on a sticky pad and put it on the dash.
