That's where I have mine. Mounted to the left side of the "A" pillar beside the oil temp gauge. I chose the left side in order to keep it out of the direct sunlight coming through the windshield. Figured cooking it wasn't a good thing for it.

I've got it in my truck. I've used it for 0-60 and RWHP. Seems pretty accurate. I think some members have had problems with the G-Tech. It doesn't play well with our V-10's. The D-PIC has worked just fine. The picture in my post above showing my shift light also shows the D-PIC in the center position.
