That is for the 8.0L iron viper motor. The throttle body that was done for me, was the first 8.3L he did.

Should have TB back by friday, then hitting dyno for before and after numbers. The guy that did the TB for me is curious what numbers it will produce as well.
interested in the before/after results...... looks good as far as the work done. :)

Mine is a 1995 2500 V-10 that I just bought 2 months ago. I was shocked that it gets as good if not better MPG as my 1996 2500 5.9 V-8 did.

Bill.

The fastman (aka Dan Arcand) is well known in the Dakota/magnum engine world. His Throttle Body mods are top notch. I used to have one of his TB's for the V6 3.9L in my old dakota.

I'm a bit surprised he's never done viper TB's before though.

still scares me that hes working on these and has wrong info on the site
the 8.0 was the 1st and 2nd gen vipers, the trucks have 3rd gen eninges(8.3L)

8.0 and 8.3 don't matter he bores out what you give him, not like he's building the entire engine...
the BBK TB is 67mm anyone know what factory is??

Ah, the mythical BBK TB... Vaporware. :( :dontknow: :slug:

I just measured the stock blades - they are 65mm in diameter.

In early '95 Dodge was making a V-10 (cast-iron) in there duely. So ours is the first one with the alumn./cast.
I think he's got it right......

i'll wait to see if there is a dyno gain with this TB since it's only .25mm larger. I'm almost thinking about gettin the BBK for a viper and modifying the throttle arm to work with my cruise control

this is what threw me off...........
Year: 2004 2005 2006
Model: Ram
Product: Throttlebody 8.0, V10 (truck), 2.030, 51.75, $225+$80 Core + $10 U.S.shipping

UPDATE: Got my throttle body back on Saturday, going to try to set up some dyno time in the next week or so. I will keep you all posted.
