New toy from Ebay

Found a new toy on ebay. Came with a 451 stroker,Hooker Super Comp Headers,3500 convertor,3.91 gear, super stock springs with pinion snubber. I got it a couple of weeks ago and added 3 inch TTI X-pipe exhaust,new guages,MSD 6AL and coil,widened rear wheels and installed 275/60 drag radials. Washed and waxed it and polished wheels. This thing is FUN to drive,runs low 12's just like she is and saves me from over modding my SRT!!

Very nice! I was looking at buying a VERY nice stock Red 67 Coronet R/T 4-spd years ago that I passed on. The damn thing would probably sell for $50,000 now, but was going for $10k at the time.

The car gets worse. About 8 mpg. The truck gets 18.6 mpg on the highway and 11 around town. Of course I haven't really tried to get mpg out of the car yet

Well I was going to take pics of the engine this afternoon but the guy that is going to install and paint the WO23 Hemi scoop is starting on it. While it is apart I am going to put a MOPAR M1 4500 flanged intake on it with a 1050 Dominator. It has a 750 Holley on it now but with the 3 inch exhaust and new scoop it will need more air and fuel.Trying to wake this thing up and put it in the 11's on a street tire through the mufflers.
