people like that need to hunted down and delt with accordingly.

sorry to hear that. I have a dent in my driver side door and a scratch in the rear bumper due to A-holes who dont know how to park...now I park at the far corner of the parking lots taking up atleast 3 spaces...

man..i feel your pain:( check with their security, maybe they have cameras looking over the parking lot, like the walmarts and other establishments do.) i have had a new vehicle keyed before, those a-holes are lower than pond scum:mad:

I feel your pain. I always try to park way out in the parking lot. I have had mine keyed before. After that I changed my deductible to $100.

Unfortuneately it can happen any where at any time.:( Assholes are everywhere.

Sorry to hear about your truck.

Yeah that really sucks. I parked at the mall one day and I made sure to park way out away from other vehicles because I'd rather have her out in the open so if anyone has intentions of jacking with her they would be easily seen. I also park way out so I wouldn't get those infamouse door dings from folks with fve foot long doors that they seem to have to swing all the way out at full force. Anyway, I make my way to the door before paying just to get a friggen glimpse of #1900 as she is waiting for me to come back. I see this damn lady parking her oversized Suburban  RIGHT NEXT TO HER.... and close too... WTF?!?!? But why?:dontknow: Anyway I pay it no mind and enter the long ass line at the register. I get out finally to find two things. One was that the lady was no longer parked by me. Secondly... I find the :motz: F*@%ing new scratch on the rear driver's side bumper. I was totally pissed. Here are some pics...

Looks like good weather for a cruise to Walmart for this month's issue of Truckin' Magazine then off to Lake Houston...

dang thats sux big time i understand how you feel i have a feel that it is going be my turn to my truck any time soon...

there should be a law that you get a free wack with a hammer when some jackass gets caught doing stupid shit like this. i myself would use the claw end.

When I had my SLT I pulled into the work parking lot. The Dell parking lot is loaded with all kinds of vehicles as you can imagine. Some guy pulls up next to me in a Saab and swings the door open and I feel my truck rock. I get out and walk around while he is unloading his car and stand between out vehicles. He turns around and says sorry about that the wind caught the door. There is a nice golf ball size ding down to the paint that he points out. He has the balls to say was that dent already there. He then tries to walk off and I reply nope good thing you have insurance, Ill need to get your policy number. His reply was for a door ding you want my insurance. I replied yes or I could just get in my truck slam my door into yours and we call it even. Had the door painted although it never really looked right.

:hmpf: Looks like I will have to adopt that same habit. Keeping a small pad and pen handy in the SRT isn't much to ask for.

Sorry to hear that man, I know how you feel, as you said those types of people have no respect for other persons property and unfortunately it can happen anywhere at anytime and especially if you have something that is new. Anyways I hope you get everything fixed to your satisfaction.

Sorry to hear of your problem...I learned long ago...my truck seldom is parked in large lots...and when it is, it is at the very back all by itself...no door dings...and the critters that slither along with a key in their hand are too lazy to walk that far to get to my truck.

The Jacksonville crew is a cool bunch...Big Perm, Marc T, Jax Ram, and few others, get with them you will enjoy the company.

I just don't understand what goes through someones mind that would make them destroy property like that; sorry about the damage.

My best friend had an 11 second Monza many years ago that was his pride and joy. Like many, he always parked at the far corners of a parking lot to avoid the typical dings/dents. One day he came out of a mall, only to find a very beat up Datsun parked very close, and of course he had a ding. He went bolistic and kicked the passenger side door in, ripped the windshield wipers completely off the car, and busted the front windshield with a rock that he found nearby. He then left a note saying "Hey dumbass, bet you don't park next to me anymore."

I know, a bit extreme. But he got his point across.

For me that's the worst part about having a nice vehicle, so my Viper will be treated the same way my truck was - The only place it really ever gets 'parked', is in my driveway. If it's anywhere else, I'm with it.:dontknow:

Even my Focus - I know it's a sh!tbox, but I still keep it clean. I parked in a lot yesterday for 5 minutes, only to come back out and find this woman next to me. Of course she couldn't park her car between the lines, or straight for that matter - I guess she left me about 18 inches to get in my car. Fortunately for me, she was still sitting in it, so she hadn't dented my door yet. Plus it gave me the opportunity, even though her window was up, to question her as to why she was unable to park a car correctly. Though, I may not have said it that nice.:dontknow:  :thefinger:

Kind of strange isn't it. The vehicle I enjoy driving the most gives me the most anxiety when I'm in it because I know I can't stop anywhere or I'll have to park and risk getting a ding. :dontknow: About the only time I drive it anymore is to the ATM or post office.

Is it karma or what??? Luckily no scratches this time, but I made my wife park way out in the boonies at AFB Hickam today so that no one would park next to my "Real" Love:D:D:D:D!!!

So we come out and this POS SVT taurus is parked right next to her.....but why? I dunno. You would think people would get the hint. I guess he wanted me to check out his rusty POS....I really didn't want to.

But I did look for scratches!

Sorry for the Bad luck guys!!! Been there.:(
