Of course what do you expect to happen! I was down on Hwy 90 doing a little cruisin when I noticed the smell of burning brakes I started to worry but my pedal was fine, the ol' lady said "Honey it's because of everyone doing burnouts your fine". 10 miles and an hour later(that's how slow traffic was moving a lot of stop and go, stop and go...), I pulled over to check my brakes, I could smell it but everything looked in order, waited on my buddy, soon as he got there we headed over to our favorite hang-out. Same stop and go but somewhat worse on the way back, as I pull up to the light before the turn, I notice smoke from my right front, we figure it's the P.O.S Accord sitting in front of us but I start to worry, then as we turn into the restaurant it wasn't the Accord it was my truck! Is it normal for our big brakes to heat up that bad, I hate to think the caliper is frozen, I already talked to Tony about a rebuild kit but am I freaking out to much because its my new truck and I just don't know how it is yet?

Dang man!!! I wish I knew as much as most the guys.... good luck in the fix!!! SOMEBODY HELP THIS MAN

I don't know what the problem is, but I can tell you it is not normal (my trucks brakes do not get any hotter than my other vehicles).

been a few folks that has had that prob.

i think they wound up replacin or repairin & flushin the system

I figured I would go the repair or replace route just hoped I didn't have too.
