New Truck question

It looks like I didnt get the wheel lock key, lets hope I dont get a flat before I can get one. What should the tire pressure be at, looks like its about 25 psi currently. It rained on me the whole drive home so Im going to wash today and get some pics.

Thanks all,

Congrats! I love my truck more and more every day I drive it. I just turned 3500 miles the other day.

I got the truck out and washed it today. Bad thing is I found a few nicks on the front air dam and the door panel. Im sure those have proper names but Ill use that for now. I have to call the dealer tomorrow to make sure they get me my wheel lock and somehow I managed to walk out without my paper work. It was a long day and I was ready to get home. On a good note I had some yahoo in a dodge durango roll up behind me today. He was right on my ass and when I sped up so did he. I really didnt want to get on it to much since I only have 300 miles on the truck but I did show him some rapid acceleration. I let off a ways down the road and he caught up. I have to face the dreaded parking lot tomorrow which gave me several nice door dings in my SLT. There is a viper that parks in two spots to avoid this maybe ill roll up next to it.

"I enjoy driving mine more now.. than I did when I first got her."

Gee Ken,I wonder why !!!Yeah,I'm jealous !!!Hopefully I can get some good news tomorrow and they will tell me my house in Naples has sold !!!Then I can be a real happy MOFO !!:burnout:

Congrats Bro! ... Yep, park right next to that Viper. He will appricate the extra "coverage". Maybe you guys could meet up and "talk shop". :dontknow: :)

Oh, and by the way.... I like about 40 LBS in my tires. 20lbs is WAAAAY too low for a performance tire. Better yet, see if one of the shops in town has Nitrogen.... It won't fluctuate tire pressure like "regular air" will. ;)

I ran the tires up to 35 psi today. I just need to make sure that I dont have any tire issues. The truck had 42 miles on it and it is an 05 so Im sure it did a lot of sitting. Now I also hope that my fuel mileage decideds to go up as the truck gets broken in. My SLT did after a few k miles and after the exhaust swap. The drive home was all hwy 238 miles and I was at 5.3 on the overhead. I knew it was going to eat some gas but that is a pig. Is it worth doing an muffler only swap or is cat back the only way to go. With the wife having me on lockdown I dont think I can swing $600 for a cat back. She informed me today that I wont be getting a birthday anniversary or christmas gift this year. Ill have to start building the slush fund back up.

That's too bad about the gifts Bro... :( BUT, the milage WILL go up. TRUST me. ;) I get 12mpg around town.... :dontknow: Once she see's how nice the interior is (after the "regular SLT") she will like the truck... Hell, my girl drives mine more than I do! :)

Man I wished I could get 12 mpg mine seems hung on 10.4 no mater what I do .
On the wheel key , I got a nail and thought I was screwed since I had not found it . I found mine jammed kinda under & behind my amp in the center console. Not sure if there was a standard place to put um or it's like and easter egg hunt
Georgetown ,Just down 1431 from me ,,,,,, Po boy WILCO dont like U already <VBG>

Congrats on the truck!!!

I think you will love it!!

Your MPG will go up just by putting more air in the tires! I like mine around 40 psi too!
