Well I have a few miles under the belt on this sweet ride. I have noticed a few things and have looked on here but could not find and answers.

1) I think that this truck is lowered it has 2" blocks under the rear axle, they say Viper on them, is that stock?

2) Has a shock mounted off the rear diff cover for axle wrap, is that stock?

3) Has some traction leaf spring with at roller and a bump stop also, is that stock?

4) Has a SRT10 shifter that is billet looking is that stock?

5) I can hear the transmission sound seems to come up the shifter, works great does not grind no mater how hard a shift it.

6) truck idles a little rough like it has a cam but not sure if it is normal or not. Truck pulls hard and smooth right to red line. Changed out the plugs no diff.

This site is a great wealth of info done some small mods already

thanks

I have xmetal lowering blocks and shifter and they say the same thing as yours!!! Enjoy...........stock shifter is the biggest piece of crap ever produced....couldnt get mine to downshift without fighting it. You prolly have xmetal front lowering springs as well. You can check by looking at your front bump stops. xmetal ones are red.....but to install you had to grind off some metal.....I think the stock ones were white.

Check your throttle body for xmetal insignia and check your pcm. If you dont have factory stickers on it.....its prolly an upgraded one.....which would be very cool. You can take if off and look for the aftermarket sticker if your curious. B&G and DC Performance are key aftermarket players.

Post some pics of the new hot rod.

Welcome Bud ...... Git your wallett out ..... This could be expensive ...

oh by the way ... :needpics:

Jim

expensive? yup

Well ordered the long tube headers mids and cat back from a friend at Dodge. Sent out the headers for ceramic coating. Mounted up some new Nittos on the front leaving the old ones on the back for some "fun". This thing is so fun to beat on. Kind of a little nervous about windowing the block. May tear it down this winter and install the good rods, pistion, fluid damper and such.

Tried to upload pics, too big will get smaller ones

Welcome. If your N/A you wont have to worry about the motor "UNLESS" you use a shitty tuner. Otherwise As the Prof likes to say drive it like you stole it:burnout: :burnout: When you go FI past the limits then worry if you didnt build, but installing new rods and pistons:p brings you to the next level of FUN:marchmellow: K1 rods and Wiseco pistons is what are in mine:burnout: :burnout: :marchmellow: Again Welcome to the Pysch Ward.
