new tuning software

we are going to be beta testing some new software from SCT for the SRT10. using only the stock pcm by flashing it thru the diag port retaining the factory tune in the handheld programmer. thus no warranty issues or cards to worry about. stay tuned as we will giving updates as things progress.

That would be a great alternative to a flash, and a VEC if you didn't need the additional functions.

Probably not powerful enough to pry the AEM away from me though.

trust me with the things (sct tuning) we have done so far with the Lightnings and cobra's.... it will make you want to take the AEM and use it as a mouse pad or something more useful than tuning software.

Stock displacement, but not stock otherwise (hey, my L is still stock then, right?)

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the software for the C5/Z06 to see what it can do. PM me if you think you can make that happen.

As good as it seems to be, I don't think the software is going to have anywhere near as comprehensive of a feature set as the AEM offers (just download the AEM pro software (free) and check out the traction control setup if you doubt it), or the mind boggling means of viewing and setting vehicle parameters.

Bear in mind that unless you have the additional processing power of an outboard engine management system (or piggyback processor), you are still handicapped by the limits of the vehicle's ECU. Aside from the sophistication of the programming software, hat's the principle difference between the SCT software and a system like the AEM.
