OOOHHHH Gawd....I just messed my shorts! Oh! Oh! Oh!

I wish I could afford one of these beauties!!!! Wow!

Thanks so much for posting this article! Great read! Although, I wish I had that motor in my truck! LOL

I think I can tell the difference...lusting in a way that may end up costing me.

Geez, my '06 will hit 60 in <4 seconds and the 1/4 in <12 seconds.

I can't wait until some 'Real Drivers' get their hands on these cars so we can see their true potential! I'd love to see a 10 second slip from a totally stock '08 Viper!!

Very Very nice ride...Like the 600HP also...Hats off to Chrysler...:congrats:
Also the colour green hope it comes into production...So different...

At the All Chrysler Nationals in Penn this July there was at least 40-50
Vipers in line...SRT 10 only 3...Next year there will be at least one more
MINE...:burnout:

GOT WOOD,I do now !!!!Only in my dreams would this car ever be in my garage !!!!

Snakeskin Green Dude! And it IS one of the new colors!!

I was impressed by the fact that they still (apparently) have not returned to the glory days of (Viper's) forged internals (lost after 1999).

After experiencing firsthand the capablity of Patrick's (1999) monster it seems a shame that those who wish to safely mod-up the new motors will need to spend a buttload of cash to strengthen the lower end first... Or risk the "kablooey" factor........

Damn nice car...... But if I ever bought one, I'd be looking for a creampuff of a '99..

From what I've read, they use Cast Pistons for emissions reasons.

Personally, I don't understand why a Forged Piston would make a difference, but I'm sure they know a bit more about the subject.:dontknow: :D
