Glad you like them... His new stuff (the last 2 years) is LIGHT YEARS better than his old stuff... Most are made in a proprietary factory in Switzerland (that's a little more RARE than you may think.... only 75% of Rolex's line is fully Swiss anymore.)

I think you're confusing our prairie dogs with regular dogs (canines). They're quite different. Right now, Loki is trying to chew through 1/4" thick stainless steel round stock.

Nothing from TAG under 40mm? That scratches them off the list.

I know you're not being an ass, Jake. I did neglect to put a price guideline up there. Let's say: $400 or less.

I don't consider myself a "cheap fugger". I'm just smart with my money. I'm not into wasting it. And as nice as those TAG's and other uber-watches are, I *will* break them. Esp. if they're as large and thick as I think they are (save it, Mikey). Every time we go to the Diamond Cellar (Rachel's 2nd favorite store), the guys there try to talk me into a Breitling or a TAG. I explain time and again that while I like their store, I don't feel like coming in there once a week. :)


Anecdote:
I used to spend hundreds of dollars on sunglasses. Revo, RayBan, etc. All of them ended up breaking (my abuse; usually incidents while skiing) or being stolen.
I have since moved on to 100% UV protection glasses from X-Mart. $20 for a decent pair, and I don't have to worry about them breaking, scratching, or ending up in someone else's pocket.
Same protection for my eyes; fatter wallet.

Hope you bought it from ShopNBC. ;) They are factory direct. :rock: Best deal you can get (even better than ESlay)..... Watch Jim Skelton. I know him personally (he used to be a mod on the WatchUSeek site, before he started hosting SNBC's watch shows). He's a REAL watch guy, and won't steer you wrong. :)

$400 should get you a decent watch, Kevan.... Let me dwell on it for a minute.... :D I need to hit the hay for a few, anyway. :eek: :burnout:
