:D :D :D :D

Or, maybe a Greubel Tourbillon :p (It's a mechanical movement that uses a gyro to equate the pull of gravity on the gears.... this makes the timepiece highly accurate. All with NO Batteries. ) It's only $90000.

Ah... sorry, got a little carried away there... Lemme see what choices we have in Ana-Digi's below $400.... :burnout:
I was looking at the Tourbillon design and reading about that movement earlier this year. Amazing!!!

That would look better on his dainty wrist too, because of the way it is angled!

* Designed in cooperation with four-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong
* Engraved and paint-filled Lance signature on backplate.
* Altimeter with Zero Drift Technology uses a special algorithm that determines whether a barometric pressure change is caused by altitude change or a weather system, letting you accurately track your ascent/descent rate, current altitude, maximum altitude, and accumulated altitude.
* Weather Mode utilizes an accurate barometer that measures atmospheric pressure—the best indicator of changing weather conditions.
* Real-time digital compass always points north, while your current heading is displayed; includes a level bubble for even greater accuracy.
* Dual-layer display for Compass and Timer vastly enhances the readability of crucial information, including compass north heading, and graphic countdown timer showing time remaining.
* Solid Titanium case utilizes one of the lightest and toughest metals available on the planet
* 1000-hour chronograph — enough for a month-long race
* Seven extra-loud alarms for time, altitude and hydration--to remind you when to drink and eat to maintain your energy during a race.
* One-piece, pinless strap construction utilizes the watch body as an integral part of the strap rather than using fragile pins, making it nearly impossible to break the watch free of the strap.
* Strap Keeper eliminates the flapping strap problem–permanently
* Battery hatch on backplate provides quick and easy battery replacement
* Water resistant to 100 meters

Looks to be about $200 :)

The Nike ones are cool, but again the strap is built into the watch itself.
The bubble level on the Lance watch would last about 11 minutes. :)

Also, to further complicate things I wear my watch on my right wrist. :D
Offset designs are cool, but don't work well on right wrists.

BTW- could they make the swoosh a little bigger? I mean, they're paying me so much to advertise for them....
:D :D :D

Dude, you haven't even met me in person yet!
:D

Let's just top this sundae off with a nice big cherry:

- The strap/band needs to be flat all the way around. As in no buckle or 'strap extension retainer'. Why? Because the buckles of those type of straps create a pressure point on the ulna (or radius...I forget which is which) of my arm.

That's why the current G-Shock has the Swatch band. It's stainless steel, and has a flush-closing buckle, with nothing underneath it or over it.
I'll get some pics up later.

I can't accidentally cut the stainless steel band. On the watches with the built-in band, the watch is garbage once the band is damaged.

Hate me yet? :D

These Luminox Velcro Military style bands are VERY durable and they stay nice and tight (the velcro catches all the way around the watch. There are no clasps to hurt your wrist.) I actually used these all the time when I was in construction. :) And they are only about 8-12 bucks, so if Loki chews through one, just throw on another.

I think these bands would look AWESOME on that Citizen Skyhawk like Shawn's.

Okay...here we go.....

The Suunto's don't list specs on their site. I'm guessing from all the watch forum posts that they're all upward of the 40mm size.

Velcro Bands? Dude....be realistic. I mean, you told me to grow up a couple of posts back. :) I don't have it on my shoes, so I'm certainly not going to have it on my watch band.

The other problem with the velcro bands is that I frequently work with acetone and other solvents. Acetone + thin plastic hooks = bad.

Lastly, the band you posted a pic of fails:

That METAL buckle will dig into my ulna.
I never said I didn't wear velcro bands....heh heh...just that I don't anymore. :)

The Nike sweatband thing was cute.
Might have to get one for Mikey so he can time his rub-out sessions. It does 1/10th of a second, right? :D

How bout a Fossil then???:D Hey, I'm grabbing for straws here Brother! Atleast theyre cheap so when you bust one its not that big of a deal to get another!

Kevan send me your addy...I am sending you my Mickey Mouse watch....:D Lord almighty :D Jake is right ur a pain in the Ass :D What's next a mascara and eye shadow thread :p :D
