New Wing Design UPDATE

Appearance wise the design looks like NASCAR. So it has a cool look.
Lots of down force at high speed. Do you know how this will affect the handling?

Dodge SRT designed balance from front to back with the splitter formed into the front fascia and the stock rear wing for down force "without" drag.

+1 for coolness, -1 for drag and handling.

Still curious to see how the finished product looks AND performs.

Cheers :)

Yea i was going for a little bit of a Nascar feel but with a low-profile look. Its only 4" tall. Im sure there will be some downforce. But im not sure how much and if it will affect handling :dontknow: but Thats one reason why i decided to go with Aluminum instead of fiberglass. Last thing i want is for the fiberglass to break apart for what ever reason.

Make it solid with no badging and it will look pretty killer. ;)

Yes the Badgeing will be up to the customer as well as the painting. They will be polished by default.

i was wondering if that was a reflection or they copied that part of the truck for the coloring, agreed it doesn't need any badges

Yes sir, agree.

Here is the new efile view. If you want, send me a pic of your truck with the viewing angle you want.

Ok i'll send you one when i get out of work. Man you read my mind ha, I was gonna ask you to flip it so it mounts on the outside so there is 2 mounting options. the customer will have too choose one mounting style. Do to the angle of the gussets being different

That wouldn't that work if you have a bed cover, right?

yea it wont because the threaded studs will hit the top of tail gate preventing the cover to sit all they way down. But i could make a wing that mount on a bed cover. I just need to stretch the gussets and studs enough to clear the tailgate.
