Newbee Q - Lowering Kit

Hi all. Newbee here with an '05 QC that spends time on this great site just lurking. Installed Boomer's lowering kit a few weeks ago and noticed that the rear end is about .5" off center towards the passenger side. What I plan to do is jack stand up the frame members, loosen up all the U-bolts and the billet cradle bolts, and using a floor jack, jack up the rear end pumkin and try to slide it back to square.
Question: Should I use thread locker on the cradle and U-bolts? The thought of those coming loose at 80mph scares the hell out of me and I have a 1000 mile trip coming up in a month.

I thought the nuts for the cradles on boomers kit are the nylock type?
Std torque on those really those only need to be snugged down.Over-torqueing those will cause the upper flat plate to bend.
Once the saddles are on and pinion angle is achieved torque the Ubolts to spec. 80ftlbs I believe. Ubolts will keep everything clamped together.

Something to check when you look at the ubolts make sure they are up against the original spring perch. Mine didn't want to sit right against them,because the welds for the perches would push the ubolt away.

the ubolts, get that, the upper pinion bar for the cradles gets torqued to only around 50ftlbs

I might add another suggestion. The bed on your truck could be off centered which would make it appear the rearend is not centered. If possible, measure from the frame to a fixed point on each side of the rearend. You might have to loosen the bed mounting bolts and slide the bed to one side or another. Just another idea to check out.

silverqc and i had the same problem. after talking to boomer and dodge threatening to void my warranty due to off center to the passenger side i took it back to where it was done and they had to use pry bars this morning to get center and then torque it down with it centered. same prob. easy fix though.
