I didn't see a "stupid question" category so I just posted here. What is the NFFF site? The only one I know of is the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. I've seen it mentioned on several posts, just curious. TIA
 
Some site that exsisted before this site ----the guys that started the VTCOA left or where banned from the NFFFFFFFFFFFFFF and started this forum ---at least thats the story I've heard....some EKOOL guy was the reason..
 
Thats was just the story I have heard ---I'm sure more will chime in with additional info...
 
The No F***ing Fun Forums.

It was an old forums for SRT vehicles run by a money hungry dude who will ban you for basically doing anything.
 
Shit --you mean I was a member of that forum and didn't even know I was on the NFFF--hahahaha Well that was just before I bought my truck and I don't even remember my screen name or P?W
 
Keep in mind, the NFFF feelings have hit here too.

I'm happy to see that most weathered the storm and remain friends and contributers

I still have a name there and check the site out but it's kinda dead. Was not a member when the stuff hit the fan so not sure what went down. I just know this site is more enjoyable to visit.
 
I was soft banned. Which means I was banned but my screen name still shows that I'm an active member. I got a PM over there, but I can't check it because I'm banned. That site got exactly what it deserved. Posts can only be about the topic. Close to zero tolerance on off topic posts or if you post something negative about another member.
 
And I guess the step away from here is the SRTConnection ?????:dontknow:

Although that may be true, it's not entirely the same. Most have learned from the days of the past and have found a way to work through it.

The connection is a far cry from what this place remains to be. Where the connection is a mass mix of every SRT ever built, the VTCOA is specific and I'm happy for that.

At one time we were (a few of us) rallying for some additional forums to discuss the other SRT's, namely the Viper Coupe because so many had graduated to something smaller. After spending some time on the Connection, I must say that the foresight of Patrick and not going that direction was a good one.

So, I'm glad we have choices.

So whether your cup of tea is the C, the srt10forum or the VTCOA. The one thing that will always be cool. Is this place remains neutral when it comes to other sites.

I ran a forum before, and it is a thankless job. My forum was much smaller and less active than this one, so I am sure the work load is many times greater here.

So to the owners and mods, I say thanks. You guys have done a great job of providing a place to get my fix.
 
I always wondered what the, OTHER, site was that everyone always mentioned. I suspected it was the srt10forum when I tried to post a message to this site and they blocked the url, now I know. Thanks.

And yes I have an account there too but found this site and there is no comparison. Much more going on here and tons more informative and fun. The other site has some good things here and there but is definitely not as active as this one.
