NHRA tech on our trucks

Just looking at the tech for vehicles runing 13.99 and quicker it says driveline hoop required unless you on street tires then you can run 13.00 without it. So we have split drivelines do they require two? Getting ready to run in a couple weeks and dont want to be locked out from playing.

By all technicalities no you only need one 6in minimum from the front of the drive shaft. Your carrier bearing takes care of the middle. It is just to keep the front from dropping and catapulting the vehicle

Mine passed tech inspection at Atlanta Dragway on street tires with no problems (12.20's). Well, except they made me have an approved jacket and helmet because of the supercharger.

Try these guys. This is where I got mine. Pretty good price and simple bolt-on. I was told the same thing a few years ago when I got teched. After I got it I've gone back and they have never checked to see if I have one. Better save than sorry. I guess...
