in three months the U.S. would be devided into two seperate countries where

one would be all republican,libertarian,patriot,self reliant,conservative,etc.,

and the other democrat, socialist, communal, flower child, hippi, crooked ball

capwearing, pants worn below buttocks, 13yr old single mothers,

"lets take this Co's profits", "It's wrong for anyone(except me and my family)

to have more than his neighbor",

I want $30.00 an hour for doing

a $7.00 an hour job, the second amendment is not an individual right, etc

and the caveat being that the borders would be forever sealed with no futher entry or exit, which country would you choose to live??

First of all, Republican and Libertarian are not the same. Not even close. Either is Democrat and Socialist.

You say that the Republicans are about self reliance, yet they are all for giving a company that makes billions a quarter more of our money in subsidies. Hmmmmm.

And conservative? Are you aware that conservative/liberal actually refers to the way in which someone interprets the Constitution? Hell, it seems as if the Republican party (based on the current administration) wants to toss the whole damn document.

And the Democrats are no better, they let it happen, hell they voted to make it happen.

They both want to pick and choose which parts of our Constitution that should be enforced.

You bring up the 2nd amendment. What about the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, or 10th? The Republican party doesn't seem to think that any of those are very important.

Political parties are a joke. Our 2 party system isn't good for much, other than deadlock and corruption. It's time for a viable 3rd party. Unfortunately the 2 parties we already have find themselves with a stranglehold on the money that it takes to get elected to office these days.

I'll say it again, there are very few real differences in either party. They are out for themselves and their cronies.

It's a shame, cause there are some folks out there with good ideas, but crossing the aisle is now looked at as something along the lines of treason. Partisan politics will someday be the end of this noble experiment that was started by some real smart guys, that rarely agreed on anything.

And by the way, both of those new countries would fail miserably.

We need a new party "THE LIBERTY"party with an iron clad totally unambiguios constitution.

You'd think that the pragmatic solution would be to just put the smart people in charge of things. Unfortunately, they'd be even better at screwing us.

The Libertarian ideals sound a bit more palatable, but I'd want to reserve the right to kick ass if necessary.
