Just wondering if its possible to run a 75 shot of nitrous with the dc flash ( stage 1 or 2). Also, has the new flash rectified the pinging problem? thanks

I wouldn't add N2O on top of the flash unless you add some race gas. The flash adds timing which you do not want with nitrous among other things. Pinging? I have the Stage 2 on my 04 and run 93 all the time and have never heard any pinging. Is this an issue for the 05's??

I have no pinging with my Stage II running 91 here at 5K+ ft of elevation. However if I were to add N20, I would run better fuel!

Anything is possible, but if you do it make sure it at least a wet shot. I sprayed a 150 shot with stock timing, it think you might be alright.

Yo Zex what up!? I am getting ready to order up my goods! Can you or anyone else explain the difference between a wet and dry NOS kit?

I would make a call to DC and see what they think. You could dial back the timing some. The problem is you are not always driving around spraying. So if you dial back the timing you will lose some HP. Now you could get a VEC2 with a card set for NOS. Then at the track you could adjust the timing so you can spray. To answer your orginal question I'm not really sure if you can just run a small shot with the flash.

The simple explanation:

Dry= No extra fuel, just the N2O shot

Wet= Extra fuel added with the N2O shot.

boomer seems to support the split second lately. I am going w/ a Zex system and a wideband. Stock PCM. Going to start small and keep a close eye on A/f and go from there to see how big of a shot I can run on stock timing. What does a air intake, headers, mids and magnaflow do to your air to fuel on a stock tune? Richer or leaner?

Personally...I like Daniels approach to the Paxton setup....Keep it SAFE....570 or so rwhp w/ Paxton....then slap on a 100shot. The stock Paxton tune is ultra conservative and will keep your motor in good shape. Then, if u want to race.......u have the shot to put you in the 11's.
