OK im confused on one part of my setup. I have a Zex system and i finally got around to installing the TC Window Switch. Got it all wired up and i tapped into the blue/white wire for the tach signal (coil control #4)

I'm confused on the first step of the programming....

Step 1: TACH signal set-up:

Number display B and C should be set to the chart below (Number display A is not used in this step):
0 0 = individual coil per cylinder systems where the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 1 = coil packs that fire in pairs (waste spark systems) and the TACH wire is connected to the coil
0 2 ~ 1 2 = number of engine cylinders, from 2 to 12, where the TACH wire is connected to the tach from the engine electronic controller or distributor

Now am i entering 10 for the amount of cylinders we have or am i entering something else for the coil pack i tapped into? I took a guess and put 10, just wanna make sure I am right.

Also what have you guys put your settings on...the skip shift confuses me so i put 0 to turn it off and i set the activation at 3000rpm and my deactivation at 5900.

anyone? Come on i know theres lots of guys with nitrous setups. Someone has to have a window switch.

i have a mds window switch but the cylinder settings are different on each window switch you have to find someone with the exact same one you have ,,

my settings are
00
02
10
but my mds may not be the same as yours :dontknow:

i have mine set for 3000 to 5200 ,,,i think going all the way to 5900 could make you go boom ,,

yea im actually going to back it down to 5500. Rev limiter is what, 6000? i cant remember since its been so long since i went WOT. I dont want to blow it but at the same time i want the longest possible shot. You got any videos of your spraying?

I have a different brand of window switch , but set up looks simular. I would set it at 10. At the track with slicks I set mine at 1800-5900. On the street I lock out first gear (unless I want a flaming burn out) and 2500-5500.

When I started plying with my system I did a search and did'nt find much info on where people were setting there window switch. I read a lot of post and the generic answer was Your Gonna Go Boom. So I started to play. I may be on the edge of going Boom, but it still runs. Hard to find a dyno around here. The guy I was using keeps putting me off since I went to a 150 shot. His Viper buddys say it will blow up on his dyno. I haven't called him yet this year, too busy and too broke.

Well even know the track opens on April 29th and I could spray since i have my nitrous tune from torrie. I'm going to hold off until after June. On June 4th we are apparently having a dyno day in Calgary. So ill do the dyno runs with the nitrous and see how the truck is. If it looks good then its good to go but if theres any issues ill send them to torrie to get him to adjust it for me. I'm sticking with a 100 shot until i start to build the engine up.
