I picked up a 08 Jeep Srt 8 last month and I decided to see how it would compare with my truck, so I told the wife it was time for a little race. I can say that the jeep is a monster off the line, but I was able to track her down for the contraversal win. I say had her, but she insists that she won. So basicaly I need to do something here so it's not so close. This is where I need some advise. Let me tell you a little about my curent set up and I'll let you guys tell me where to go from there.

The pistons are forged, so I'm confident it's strong there. I have the comp 2 cam, the B&G tuned ECM, and Bellanger long tube headers. Now I'm thinking about nitrous. First, is this a good idea or bad idea? If good idea, should I do a wet or dry system, and what size shot would I need to give me some nice power but at the same time not make me wonder if I'll need to order engine #4 every time I hit the switch.

Edumacate me fellas.

first off I cant believe a stock srt 8 was even a close race with youre mods. Second I would put a 100 wet shot.

She cheated! She used all 4 wheels at the launch. I still beat her though, it was just closer than I thought it would be.

Anyway, is there a specific 100 shot wet kit for our trucks or will any kit work?

I am not an expert, but I think your tune is not compatible with a nitrous shot. Others with nitrous will have to chime in on it though.

Talk to Justin (JMB) he will know what you will need.

Here is my dyno sheet of my 125 shot of nitrous, we just tuned it last night. My motor is basically stock, but as you can see, the torque numbers went huge, that should help you against the ole wifey!
