Nitto 305/45/18 DRs..

There is someone selling a set with rims. It was just posted. They look like they should work well. They are tall enough to get you through the 1/4 without shifting into 5th

The M&Hs are shorter than stock already. I don't know the math but if the Nitto's are shorter and alot narrower I don't see how they will help you off the line. Your gear ratio is going to be really low. But the smokey burn outs will look cool.

Not lookin for smokey burnouts..;) ...............need a strong link between my ring & pinion gears and the asphalt..:D

you can run the nittos but.............your gear ratio will change considerably,,
but I think it was Rice eater ran them

in the 1/8th it would be a prob, but in the quarter you may hit 5th;)

Had just looked at a chart comparing tire sizes....height is about 1/2 inch less...not big amount... but width is 3" less..that is a lot..

I dont have a ram like yall but i hope this helps. I do run those on my L. It's daily driven with those on the back. Im pushing 403/523 to the rear but i also have an auto with a factory stall. For your blown application(according to your sig), i would have to say that wont be close to enough for the power you are putting down. If i was in your shoes, i would invest in some slicks and just swap them at the track if you cant be trailered there. I can post a picture of mine so you can see how it looks mounted up. my rims are 18"X9.5(factory).

here's my run from wednesday night.

I ran 3 times and ran all of them a 1.86-1.88 60'ers. I dropped the psi to 17 on both and heated them up real well in the water box. I just mashed it off the line w/o trying to stall it up.

I think yall rams have a VERY high ratio for first gear so i think those would not do justice. In other words, dont waste your money. I plan to go to a 2800 stall and i dont think it will be good enough but time will tell. I refuse to DD on street tires in the rear though. Ill just get a set of slicks for the track.

A rule of thumb is do not drive with drag radials in the rain. period. I do but it's not recommended because they can brake loose easy. I do not want to see a thread that someone's nice srt10 got totaled on DR's while driving in the rain. Even worse, someone getting hurt. Be safe in your choice TNviper!
