No SEMA!!!

Well as most know the truck was suppose to be heading to Las Vegas for SEMA, but I decided to call it off today with the paint company! After my recent trip to the Nats I was involved in a stiff judging battle Friday in my Young Gun Modified Class, they got me for a dirty driveshaft, dirty frame, alternator just down right lil shit thats hard to keep spotless if its not on a trailer all the time!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! now the plan is as follows

-completley powdercoated frame
-motor pulled, rebuiilt and suited with twin turbo's
-motor chrome and powdercoated as much as possible
-remove all unwanted items AC, Cruise etc
-interior all fiberglassed, painted and seat plus headliner redun
-15 inch monitor mounted n dash with 2 screens in visors 2 in headrest and to ice the cake a 32 inch flip down mounted in the tonneau cover
-exhuast completley polished
-rear end powdercoated
-whole underneath of truck painted same color as truck (bottom of bed, cab. etc)
and a few more mods

as for the trucks future it will never see the road AGAIN, i will be looking for another SRT to enjoy and drive but as for my QC she will be a trailer queen! I hate to do this but im wanting to run with the top dogs of the show series and will make sure the next time its in a class it dnt belong it will still have a chance at taking it to the top!

Years later..I did a 93 Mustang for car audio shows. Ended up fighting with judges on the class the car belonged in.
At that point said screw it and vowed NEVER to build a car around shows.

Now I do what I want. Not out to please anyone.

yea its always goin to be a battle and judges always think they know more about ur ride than u but im n this for the long haul and will take this truck to the xtreme if i have to, i think this is more to fill that competive side of me and i wnt be happy till this truck is were i think it needs 2 be, like i told the wife im to deep to pull out now so jus goin to have a dig a lil harder
