No sound from RB1

Hi. I saw a couple old threads about this but found no fix to the problem. I just bought a used RB1 for my 04 R/C. I hooked it up and it is working except for no audio. An old thread says that some RB1's do not support the infinity systems in our truck. It suggests that the RB1 is not powering up the amp. It suggests jumping 12 volts to the remote amp wire. I do not want to start jumping wires and burn something up. Anyone who has had this problem and knows a solution??????

id like an answer to this question too because i have the factory ram sport stereo but using the infinity srt-10 amp and i also am not gettin any power. My dash has the srt-10 wiring harness in it and it plugged right in to my srt-10 amp which is a different plug then the ram sport amp. it also plugged right into my factory stereo which turns on and works fine but i have no sound either

I would run it by a good stereo guy, sometimes the metal inside the plugs needs to be adjusted slightly.
