Noob in OC...

Hey guys, whats up? Im obviously a noob here. I really just popped on here to see what I can learn about the SRT-10 "Viper" truck before i make my decision to buy one. I have one I am looking at buying, but Im still trying to decide if I want the SRT-10 or the SVT Lightning. Its a tough decision for me. Anyone have any advice to sway me one way or the other??? Thanks in advance...:rock:

Funny, thats been my whole thought process the entire time! Hahaha

Those Fords do make pretty good power though, you gotta admit.
The only down side I can see to an SRT-10 right now is the V10 with gas prices being what they are, and how expensive mods are. Then again all I need is minor bolt-ons and some spray and I should be gooood.

Its really simple if you really like how the back of these SRT-10's look like ?? Buy a lightning!! And if you like to be out front then obviously you will need a SRT-10!! I hope you enjoy your 10!Welcome aboard.

Not as bad as you think...depending what you get into on the 10's... I average 19 - 19.6 on the HWY, and 12.3 - 12.8 in the City...as long as you keep your foot out of it. :burnout:

Both are cool trucks. I've owned both.

The SRT is a nicer truck, but it'll cost ya more to mod.

Im looking at a 2005 "Yellow fever edition" QC, with only $13k miles on it and ugly ass wheels. lol, but those will obviously come off. I actually like the way the stockers look, I dont know why people change them out really? :dontknow:
Its priced to sell @ $28k, right now, but Ill get him lower. Hahaha :rock:

Buy the YF QC 10. It one of only 500 made. The srt10 ram was only made for 3 years and are alot more rare than a L.

I used to own a 2001 Lightning and yeah I have to admit it was a Bad ass truck. But I also have to admit that the Ram Srt 10 is the baddest truck on the Planet:rock: From Braking to handling andThe raw power of the Viper V10 produces, it outclasses the lightning. Not to mention also compete with some world class Sports cars

I have realized that. I just wanted to make a smart thought out decision. I have a lot of people pushing me in both directions, but the SRT-10 is winning right now. I love these trucks, I really do! Im not to keen on the yellow, but its the best deal I can find right now, especially for a QC.
