I can tell you like yellow. Hahaha. I like your wheels blacked out. I think it looks sick on the yellow!
I have no idea what number I am looking at yet. I havent had the opportunity to check it out fully. Just drove by after hours and looked at it. Paint was clean, interior looked like new. Im kind of excited to go drive it, and really check it out. I cant imagine it being bad anywhere since its only got 13k miles on it. I have been talking to the dealer over the phone about it, but that's as far as I have gotten.

Remember once you get the truck that either a SCT programmer or stage II PCM will wake that beast up! Good luck with your search!

Welcome to the asylum.....

I've always been a hopeless addict to black vehicles..... But the Yellow fever and white CE are awesome looking, too....

I almost got an L, but they have no manual trannies.... Shifting is half the fun for me..... Plus the '04-'05 has an awesome headlight shape...

You can find a great bunch of trucks on here for a great price....modded or not.... But, what do I know...I'm not really an owner either.....

Good luck with your selection..... and yes, gas will be a real big ticket... Specially if you love to put the hammer down..... I got 19 on the hwy and 13 in town.... My average was 10.2....

Get a supercharger if ya' can...........

Welcome and God bless..... I like your sig quote......

Tim

Recomendation on the type of SCT. I like SCT, its what my tuner uses also, plus I use it on all three of my mustangs! Im just new to trucks in general, so i didnt know if theres was a certain one to use or not use. Ive heard nothing but bad things about the SCT XCAL 3's, so...

Simple choice............which of these views you prefer?

This is true.
Im looking at a 2005 "Yellow fever edition" QC, with only $13k miles on it and ugly ass wheels. lol, but those will obviously come off. I actually like the way the stockers look, I dont know why people change them out really? :dontknow:
Its priced to sell @ $28k, right now, but Ill get him lower. Hahaha [/quote

Looks like theres some hope for ya,I see you have some great taste if your looking at the best looking 10 the YF's.:burnout: two thumbs up! LOL!:burnout:

Not as bad as you think...depending what you get into on the 10's... I average 19 - 19.6 on the HWY, and 12.3 - 12.8 in the City...as long as you keep your foot out of it.;) :burnout:

Good luck on your decision, and welcome to the forum:D
FYI...
Never again will there be a truck produced from an automaker with a Viper motor in it;)

You got 4.11s,with my 4.56s,I get up to 18.3 mpg on the highway!!:D

strange you're looking at a QC... if you want 4 doors... obviously your decision is a very easy one...<they don't make a 4dr lightning>:p <but I'm sure u knew that>...

Are they both fast ass trucks? of course they are.... go drive em both... should make the choice REAL ez :D

good luck with whichever you choose

Gotta agree..go for the 10..you will never be sorry..Unless you decide you dont really like your "tuck" and decide to hit a deer and sell it for 10k but the new owner needs to wait a year for the title..At that time, your forum life turns into complete hell..lol..
Sorry..we had 2 all time best threads about these 2 things..couldnt resist..Buy the 10..YF QC..well I would go RC..but thas jest me..

Well I would prefer to go with an RC too, but I need to be able to tow, thats the main thing, and then there's the wife, she has to be able to drive it when I take her 4x4 to the mountains, & she cant drive stick! I really like the way the RC's look though.
Im going to look at the truck today and talk numbers so hopefully by tonight I can be an actual owner on this site and really get into talking trucks!
Thanks for the welcome's!!!

Already tried that with the mustangs! She's manual challenged. Cant figure it out for beans. I get whip lash every time she tries to drive. Hahaha
