North East GTG to meet Venom Power - July 11th

So, Scott...Where is this going to be?..gotta figure out travel time, and such..If this is going to be on the island, I might come out the night before and see some friends in East Meadow..Hell, my patio should be finished by then so you all can come out here if you want..Dianne is itching to make a feast again..lol
 
Sorry Guys ........... Can't make this one ...

Definately going to get something going for end of summer at Mohegan Sun ..... I'll keep you guys posted. Like to co-ordinate the GTG with something cool going on at the Sun, show or something at the Wolf Den. I'll get schedules and post up in a month or so.

You guys take a lot a pics and have a Ball .......

Jim if you are serious about doing something at mohegan sun I just may hold out for that one since it is a little closer to home, i have been dying to get to my first GTG, the last one I missed out on. It's kinda a biatch living on an island that charges you $400 dollars just to get you truck off of so I really need to plan accordingly on top of getting time off..... let me know if you really plan on something

It is nice to take your truck to any GTG but not necessary, just get your ass there and meet your new best friends!!!
 
Jim, sorry to hear this. See how things go. Like I said, you may need to get your priorities straight and realize your truck is much more important than family ;)

Matt, I am up for anything. I just want to party up with Ant. I want to make it central too. I know many want to do a track day also. I am not opposed to anything really. In fact, I have not heard from Mags or Steve yet so who knows whats going on.

All I do know is that my rig has not been out of the garage in a month since my exhaust issues. Waiting for my powerstick mufflers to get here so I can drive her again.

We really need to start planning here. It will be here before we know it.
 
Agreed..Well I am also looking forward to meeting the Ant..and seeing you guys as well..July 11th at Englishtown there is nothing going on..
For some reason, not alot of guys wanna take their trucks into the city. So I would geuss that out..So I dont know what would make everyone happy..if you do something in Jersey, the Connecticut boys wont drive. If you do something out your way, no one wants to put up with the traffic.
my feeling is, just pick a spot, time, and itinerary, and whoever shows, shows..It will be fun whether thers 3 of us, or 30..the NE chapter tries too hard to accomodate everyone, and ends up not doing anything..but I digress..lets just get it going..

You are right... I do think the Orchard Beach lot is always a good spot but probably crowded in July with the beach goers.

I may just pick a place and thats it. Anthony will obviously not have his truck and he doesnt care about seeing more trucks. It is about partying up together. We should just try to meet up in Queens somewhere and then hit the city that night. I have a great bar to go to downtown.

Guys, I really do agree with not taking your trucks into the city. I most certainly wouldn't take #1900 to park her in Manhattan at all. Remember, bringing the 10's out is not at all important. I've been seeing 10's since they first came out and I always see mine. I'm just interested in hanging with whatever part of the NE crew can make it.:D

Hey Trek, what part of Queens? Queens Blvd? I used to park there behind the hospital and catch the E into Manhattan.

You know it would be cool to visit the North East gang. I've heard so much about the toll booth lingo, the location of Central Park, and rush at the end to get to the airport :D :D

But we are so full with our weekends, and that weekend I am actually taking my Motorcycle Basic Rider Course. I've waited to many years to do that and can't change it now.

Definitely next time! :D :D

A truck or no truck GTG doesn't matter to me. It's all cool either way. I was just saying having the 10's preesnt wasn't necessary for those who feel they can't come out and hang without their SRT whips, so that excuse can be put to bed. Meanwhile, I don't see a reason for me to arrive at LGA on a Wednesday, so instead I will be in NY early the next day (the 9th) and will leave early Monday morning. That gives me plenty of time to load up on pizza slices, savory White Castles and get into some kind'a trouble.:D

Mikey is still shopping at Raoul Basha's store for milk? :rolleyes:Figures. I dunno if there are any new takers for this trip. It would be cool for peeps from elsewhere to be included. I tried to convince OSO to come along with me, but he's bent on going further south into Mexico for some warm tropical weather, where the senoritas are hot and the margaritas are cold. But for now I'll just show up.:D
