Just noticed an ad in the Chicago Area Mopar Newsletter.

Hogs & Hemis at Woodstock Harley Davidson,

Noon to 5 pm, Intersection of Rts. 14 and 47 (2050 South Eastwood Drive, Woodstock IL)

Called and all are welcome. If we can get a crew together they will park us together...

I work until 4 that day. But I work a couple hundred feet down the road from that Harley dealer too, stop by my dealer Reichert. I can swing by after I get off.

Hey Guys. Sorry I won't be able to make it, having a moving sale next 2 wknds. Moving back to Colorado & need to get rid of STUFF u know. My wife passed away Aug 21st & I am going back to the Denver area. Going to hang around w/Broke,Get Bit, & the gang of SRTers out there. Thx anyway. Bob

Thanks for the response Bob. I know that your wife had been ill for a long time. I hope her passing was graceful.

Daughter is still out of town for work.
As of now I don't know which day she is coming home.

She is the one that lives in Antioch. If the party is Saturday,
I will be going in that direction...Can you say detour!

Have not looked at a map yet. How far is the show from your house?

Just 37 miles. A nice little caravan distance...

This would be a great chance for you to see all of the options...if Hilgee comes from Madison, he has a twin turbo, avmech has the Paxson, and I have the Roe Supercharger.

We will be a hit at the Hogs and Hemi show in Woodstock.

I think we will be leaving my house at 1:00. So we should be in Woodstock at 1:45...hope you can make it...but I know that the Badgers are a tough ticket to get.

Ok, we did it...had a great time, wish more could have made it.

We only had four trucks...one stock, one Roe, one Paxson, and a Twin Turbo!

There were some ooooh's and ahhhhh's from the Harley and Hemi folks.

Rode thru the back woods of Wisconsin and Illinois and saw more corn that I ever thought existed.

Met in Woodstock, IL and were joined there by Stingray...his home is in Woodstock.

I forgot my camera, Hilgee brought his but I think we were having so much fun talking that I doubt that he took many pictures. Most of the Hemi's were featured in some of my previous posts...the Chicago Area Mopar Club is pretty active and have a core of 40 or 50 members that bring their MOPARS to every event.

News:

1. The TT now has the upper boost range...scares me!
2. Someone from Illinois is going to build a 522 cu in Viper...
3. We are all interested in having one more gathering before the snow flies...probably the Saturday of the SRT Track Experience at Road America in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
4. Creating plans for a big regional spring GTG at Autobahn Country Club http://www.autobahncountryclub.net/
