Hello guys, I am asking for anybodies input on a NOS set-up. I am not looking to go with a big radical set-up, just a little bang that won't kill the engine. I have had the computer flashed by DC performance, and have Balinger LT with high flow cats, and magnaflow exhaust. Any input will help me.

Thank You,
Brad

dodge hemi zex kit, I have it listed on my site, but by no means buy it!

I got a new carrier and some prices are going lower.

but Rice eater and devildawg? heck I cant remember but either that or a efi universal kit, but I am by no means an expert or even know anything about nos, I use hairdryers:D

bo I really dont know, fatjack, rice eater, and a couple others should chime in.

I think most are only using 125 shot, and the oem pcm non flashed

I had an NOS 125 shot, universal Dodge EFI kit and it did a great job. Actually increased rear wheel hp by 91. I love it have now gone to a Cold Fusion 2 nozzle Viper specific kit and will have it on the Dyno today. The N/A numbers were 426 rwhp with the 125 kit it was 521 rwhp, Would like to see about 50 more with the new kit.

justin at jmb performance will take care of all your nitrous needs already has a kit for our trucks that has proven the test of time and i believe is the fastest bone stock n20 truck

Can't argue with that:dontknow::burnout:

I got the ZEX "TRUCK" kit. Around $550 for the basics...you may want to add in purge, window switch, bottle opener/heater....etc. But I ran just the basics for quite a while on a 150 shot and no issues to date. I was running on the stock tune but then I got an SCT programmer and had a NOS tune loaded in it which pulls timing and adds a bit more fuel. Dynod at 760 ft lbs to the wheels on a 150 shot. With the auto tranny you may want to run a 100 shot....not sure what the stock tranny can handle. Zex is the cheapest and most basic plug and play kit....minimal wiring.

be careful running NOS on a Stage II flash which has advanced timing....you want the opposite with NOS. The stock tune does workn as long as you don't go too big if you have that still?

Your right stink they are universal and they work great with our trucks easy and can be neat if your not me. Also get the window traction control it will help alot especially if your running street tires. And not because he is a member But by it from him (stinker) you might find it a little bit cheaper but it will take you forever to get and don't order from rpm outlet they have no Idea of time.IMO

Got a point but if your gonna stay under a 100 shot and your timing is not more than 5-6 degrees advanced you'll be good otherwise get an sct it pays in the long run plus I will be able to write tunes for you guys soon.

All these posts are helping, thank you, keep them coming. I live in the north so this is my project for the winter. Thank You again.

well actually I think I may be able to be pretty competitive on the nos pricing , for instance the purge kit I have listed , I am gonna be able to list it a good bit cheaper, not half , but close

whats the old system:eek: ?

jack if nos wont work good with a stage two sct tune ,,,i see in sig you have a sct tune super mod explain since you suckered me into buying your old setup ,,:p

I am running both systems on the Stage 2 (93 Octane Tune) and my air/fuel ratio is good and no predetonation. Boy I know i'm gonna get bitched at for this. In the good old days we would squirt 300 hp on a Chevy Small Block and Big Block with 42 degrees total timing and never had any problems.
