NOS set-up

I am running both systems on the Stage 2 (93 Octane Tune) and my air/fuel ratio is good and no predetonation. Boy I know i'm gonna get bitched at for this. In the good old days we would squirt 300 hp on a Chevy Small Block and Big Block with 42 degrees total timing and never had any problems.

heheh like everyone of the math goobers poo pooing my gear change

im good to go then im running the stage 2 93 octane also ,,,now where is my damn nos setup

There is an old adage..."Good tune = zoom. Bad tune = boom."

Pretty simple. Even more important with modification.

Unless you are getting it tuned by a "tuner" while on a dyno, it is way safer to stay on the stock tune! Every truck is different! To run a Stage II tune and spray anything over a 50 shot is an invatation to the "kablooy club"! Dan at DC did my SCT and I have 3 tunes: Stage II when the bottle is out of the truck, a stock tune with torque mgt(qc only), speed limiter and fan temp changed so I can spray NOS and last a 2 degree of timing pulled with the last listed changes also. Dan only felt comfortable with 2 degrees timing cause my truck was not being tuned in front of them. By learning from everyone elses mistakes I will not take a chance and blow my motor by running a Stage II and a 125 shot with out being properly TUNED!!! So please if your going to spray GET IT TUNED!!! As mentioned long ago ANY FI/NOS WILL increase your chance of KABOOOOOM! As PROF said ..."Good tune = zoom. NO tune = boom."

This is why I am asking for all the good input that i am getting from you guys. I have not found a dyno or good tune shop around here for our trucks yet.I don't need to go BOOM yet, the payment book is still to thick!

Like I said in the PM I sent you... while we might not be able to get your truck physically on our dyno, we can definitely get a program set up for your specifications and get that out to you! We've done N20 systems for quite a few trucks (and Vipers) and have it pretty much down to a science...

We'd be more than happy to help!

Soooooo, if we give you all the info: CAI, what size shot, exhaust upgrades DC can give the required tune.

Would this be a "Flash", "SCT" or both?
