if u want low 11's i suggest pulling out that old shitty engine and dropping in a procharged ls1 engine . you are going to spend so much fixing up that old engine and never get the performance your looking for without spending 8k bucks . a friendly suggestion is pull that thing out and start with something new ... good luck and add some pics !

A whole lot of small blocks went 11s before the LS1s were even thought of and they're the cheapest/easiest thing out there to get parts for.
