Hello. I am from norway and have some problem with my dodge ram srt 10 truck Model 2004. I am sorry for my poor english.

Lately i can feel the engine is not running on all cylindrs. But some times it runs on all cylinders!

From before i have had some error codes that comes and goes.
P1494 ldp pressure switch
p1494 leak detection pump switch or mechanical fault
p1486 evap hose pinched
I read some place i must make shure tk filling cover is on. So lately i have made shure that this cover is on.

But 2 days ago i got this error code: p0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected.

The error code is now gone (no ligth in dash)( I removed it with.) But my engine still miss fires (sound from engine and vibration -the normal way when one or more cylinders are not firing/miss firing.)

I used this egnition point adjustment lamp on the higth voltage cable cyl 2 and disconnekted the cable from the spark plug. The lamp was blinking uneven. Uneven when connekted as well.

I did the same on all cylinders:
Cyl
1 Blinking some uneven
2 Blinking Uneven
3 Blinking Uneven
4 Blinking ok
5 Blinking ok
6 Blinking ok
7 Blinking Unevn
8 Blinking Ok
9 Blinking some uneven
10 Blinking some uneven

I removed spark plug on cyl 2 and 4 (Picture)

When the engine are running now i get no error codes in dash.

Any advice?

Best regards
Einar

how many miles on her???

might be time for a tune up. plugs, wires. possibile coil packs

Is your truck converted to run on LPG , I think its called.
I have read alot of guys overseas do this as well.

41 714 Miles ( Changed spark plugs at 33 138miles ) Cables not changed.

To change spark plug cables is not easy i belive...possoibole to change with out removing intake manifoil? hm..

No Not changed to LPG.

To bring this truck in to norway is not easy.. Belive atualy i am not alowed to change color on the truckas well!! Norwigian custom etc !!

maybe the picture is funny but it looks like the sparkplug 4 is speckled with aluminum! do a compression check. make sure pistons are ok first. do a leakdown check to make sure the valves are still sealing. This is your first post. What mods are done to it?

There has been some issues with corrosion at the coil pack (just a thought)

Looks like detonation on the #2 cylinder....

It has been done with pliers but I DO NOT recommend doing so. Remove intake to change plug wires, port your intake to match heads while off. Gaskets as well. Paint or polish the intake while off for aesthetics. Enjoy!
Although I do not think this is your problem bud. Any check engine light on? Can you have it scanned at a local repair shop that has OBD2 reader? DRB3 from Chrysler repair shop? Verify all sensors are operating including O2 sensors. :dontknow:
I agree to do a compression test and leakdown test to see how the bottom end and valve seating is. A broken valve spring can play heck trying when locating problems with missing.
