i was watching Trucks on spiketv awhile ago, they had a programmer that can be mounted and had different settings like.......towing, highway, drag, etc...

Does anyone have anything like that for their SRT?

i wouldnt mind have one that can be mounted so on the fly i could change the settings to highway or towing or if i go to the local amateur drag nights so I could get the best possible performance

yeah SCT i think, it has cards of some sort that pop in and out. might not be SCT, i loose track of my TLA's. its the big one with all the wires, not the small hand held unit.

sct can't be done "on the fly" like a card swap (vec)...... it takes a few minutes thru your obdII port to change tunes via sct.... you're erasing your pcm & reloading. :)

think he is referring to like the edge tuner where it gives you a digital display and you can on the fly select from its menu for towing, performance, etc. but i have never seen anything like that for our trucks.

my plan is to get the srt and do a couple of roads trips so that is why i would something i chould change when im on the highways, i live out in the country so most of my driving is highway............then i wouldnt mind having a programmer i could change for the best possible towing for trailing my street rod or boat............then if i want to have some fun like 3mpg fun it could change quick

You can't change the SCT on the fly and they don't have cards. You get them preprogrammed with 3 tunes. All you have to do is stop and change the tune, takes about 3 minutes. It plugs into the port under the steering column. It also reads codes. An SCT can be had from Torrie at unleashed.com. Go through Stinker at JTS Venom Performance and get a little break!
