I'm just waking up and I decided to check on yawl.. According to the posts it seems most peeps are showing up sometime on Friday. Some are even saying they MAY make it. What's up with that?:dontknow:

Oh and Mr. Rozenheimergurkenburger? You missed the last PCB GTG so you're not allowed to mention Panama City until the next one. In fact, you should already be in Macon waiting for everyone.:D

You are absolutely right about Roz, he should be spanked.

BTW Yall is Y-A-L-L not yawl

Didn't Thomas Jefferson make some sort of comment about more than one way to spell a word ?:dontknow:

Technically it it is "y'all " : a contraction of "you" and "all" ; you all = y'all ;)

Thanks for putting that together Nelson.. And in a format I can understand too; :)all right.. But y'all is STILL bad English, just the correct and proper way of being wrong.

So, about what day are most of "you all" going to be there? We're coming a looong way to have a blast. The more attendees, the better..

A note on the track prep that we can expect...

Damon,
I can use your logo with the link to your site. We'll make the change soon. As to track prep, we no longer use VHT. We've switched to LC-6, the product manufactured by VP fuels. The Mickey Thompson tire company rented the track last week for testing with Billy and Bob Glidden and they ran 6.58 at 211 with a "big" tire and followed up with the same car running 6.60 at 209 on their 10.5. We've gotten pretty good results with the new product, but actually had to remove some of it in the Mickey Thompson test. Too much is worse than too little.
We also managed to hit the happy medium as to usage of the LC-6 with our LODRS as all of our track records fell and we had TAD passes as quick as 5.26 at 275 mph. I'm sure your folks will be OK in nine-second cars. In fact we had a turbo Buick running the TSO class to break the existing record of 9.10 with a pass of 9.005 two weeks ago. The second qualifier ran 9.020.
We'll get together when you get here about the schedule. It's all up in the air now, but we do need to work it out soon. We look forward to y'all coming!
Thanks,
Ed

he could have said you's guys..........and venom...i got put on "the list" like and hour after i posted i thought i could make it...the date is fine, but at the time, i wasn't sure if i was going to ba able to get my clutch installed in time...so as not to renig, i posted two places on here, my scenario...having not been here long (or at least not acting like it)...i realized quickly a) if you say something, you better follow through, and b)...it's only 3 mins. before a new post gets a reply...so i gotta keep on my toes here....OH...the new clutch won't be in/broke in before the gtg...so that's why i asked if i could meet if you guys wanted to take a leg break somewhere off 85 on your way through...if not, it's cool...or maybe on the way back...i'll definitely be able to do that, if for nothing else, just to personally introduce myself
