O.E.M 22'S vs REPLICA'S

Is there really a weight difference. I have heard many saying the replicas are more heavier. I found a good deal for a friend on black srt10 22s replicas and he doesnt want them cause they are replicas....

So is the rumor true?

The reproduction wheels are heavier by a few pounds. They are cast instead of forged. They can also bend easier for the same reason.
