Hey Guys,

Been awhile seen I last posted. My question is this:
Are the O2 Sensors purchased through say NAPA any better than
than the stealership? The Stealership prices were btwn $292 & $312 dlrs for all four.
Here are NAPA prices....
Automobile/Light Trucks > 2004 > Dodge Truck > Ram 1500 1/2 Ton - Pickup > "o2 sensors" > 8.3 L 505 CID V10

The Bosch O2 sensors work well and are a quality product.

FSTJACK, thanks for the response. Is it normal to replace all 4 sensor or
just the uppers? My check engine light came on and I notice that the beast
is idling a little ruff.

might want to check AutoZone or O'Rielly's.

just checked on all 4 cause i did not pass the inspection sticker test.

if i remember right they were under $40 each. Bosh. plug & play

sparkplugs.com has them. not sure on the price though

O2 sensers are an important part of a tune up now a days

Usually the 2 upstream sensors are replaced.
The back are usually just along for the ride.

Try replacing the fronts(upstream) and see if that corrects the problem.
