odd tranny problem

So I have had my truck for a week and a half (06 qc) , and I think I have found a wierd tranny problem.

Once when I shifted into drive, and once in reverse the car stayed in neutral. I had to re-shift and then no problems.

Anyone else see this type of problem?

In my 05 cummins i would put it in park and the indicator light would not come on. It was in park just not showing it. I had to drop it to nuetral to start it. Damn nuetral safety switches. But I figure it was some mud or something hanging the linkage up. I had just driven 2+ hours in a mud pit of a road. Put the pressure washer to it and only happens every now and then. So I must still have something there. Could be the same thing for you. Something hanging up the linkage. I hope you didn't take it mud bogging.
