Hello dudes.

Just did a carfax on my car and there was a warning that my car might have been tampered with.

I dont think that there have been any tampering because of the condition of the car but I would like to know if there is anyway to try to confirm that the milage is correct? Im at 18.5k Atm, trying to keep it down.

I think that when they car was imported to EU from USA they messed up, becuase of the mile to kilometer conversion.

Any thoughts? :)

Or am I just paranoid? ^^

I thought when it went too computerized it's next to impossible to do?

I'm gonna go with your theory if anything

how many miles are we talkin here

My odometer says ~18500 miles.

So, since the carfax says that there might have been a milage fraud im kinda wondering if I can look for tampering or if they messed up when it was imported.

Just looking for feedback on the subject ^^

I guess I miss typed, what is the difference between the reported and actual mileage that caused the alert

Thats the thing, everything looks right. Just dont know why they gave me a "NAM" title.

03/03/2005 6 miles
09/16/2006 90 miles
08/09/2007 NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE TITLE ISSUED

Thats the info I have from the US.
And the EU carfax says

09/16/2006 145 km (90 miles)
12/18/2007 Car imported to Sweden
12/18/2007 2 360 km (But im guessing 2 360 miles)
....
05/04/2012 17 288 km (miles)

So I just think there is a human error when the truck was sold in the US.

Any thoughts? Just think its wiered, or am i missing something?

I know I wouldn't worry about it, but thats just me
