Oil additives?

Have you run it in your truck? How much did you add?

edit: I looked at the web site, but I don't know which product I need. I'm just looking for something to add to the oil during my next oil change for everyday driving.
we run Z-max in everything we own (except the truck). It is Wifey's and she has issues with warranty stuff and insists on keeping it stock and by the book.

Call the people at Oil Chem (Z-Max) at 1-708-728-0028 9-5 CST and talk to one of their techs. They are very informative and helpful. I use it in all my stuff. Race bikes, boats, chain saws, and all my vehicles (that are not Wifey's - women ;) )

Jerry :D :D :D

Jerry is Z-max located over here in nc? near the speedway, if so I may be able to talk with them one day.
They (Oil Chem Research Corp.) are located at 6800 W. 73rd St. Bedford Park IL, 60638. 1-708-728-0028.
Z-MAX is also an official product of Speedway MotorSports Incorporated, The Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol MS, Las Vegas MS, Lowes MS, Texas MS and Sears Point Raceway.

I learned about Z-Max because of our ownership of airplanes and using their aviation products. When they marketed it to the public, I started using it in my vehicles, too. The most impressive thing I found was how well it works in 2stroke motorcycles, particularly in a KW 60 (we used as a test bed) where the rider kept it pinned at WOT most of the time. We were replacing the pistons at about 10 hr intervals with much wear. After using 1 oz of Zmax added to the pre-mix the pistons suddenly went to 40 hrs with virtually no wear and no carbon build up in the engine. Our son raced Desert AMA District 37 for several years and never had a DNF!! I used in in my sons YZ 125 and 250. The 125 was bored and stroked to 175cc and had no problems whatsoever :D He went from amatuer to #5 expert in one season against the factory teams ... I know this stuff works. :D

If all the other products are so good, why don't they have an FAA approval?? :dontknow: I think they would if they could. ;)

And btw, Z-max doesn't pay me to say this :D

As long as her name is Joanne - GO FOR IT!! :D :p :p ;)

I did allow zmax in my 1970 Buick and that damned car ran for 180,000 miles and I finally gave it away because I was sick of it :D It felt like it would run another 180 .......

I say go with Z-MAX.

Hey, Stinker - upgrade to a tampax and use z-max. You will never have a friction issue...:p :D .
And Mikey, try it on your butt plugs. I'm sure it will make insertion much easier. Ahhh, never mind, I forgot You LIKE IT:p :p :D

Back on topic Z-Max is great stuff
