hey guys which way would be the proper way to have your catch can setup?
are you guys connecting both valvecovers with a T-fitting and plugging straight to one of the catchcan connection? where are you guys connecting the second connection to? is it under the manifold or is that plugged off?? thanks

Good question. I just installed my catch can the other day and was planning to just plug the fitting under the manifold but having a hell of a time finding a plug that size....

Depends on the catch can you use. I had one from JMB that had a T connection between valve covers and one connection from there to the can. The can had a filter on the other side. This setup worked OK but where I had it mounted it took on water in heavy rain and you always smelled the exhausted oil. I recently changed to a different style that still uses the T fitting between the valve covers that feed the can but now it has a return line that feeds into the bottom of the throttle body. Hopefully no more smell or rain issues.

I have a Roe thottle body and use a 1/8" NPT to 6-AN adapter for mine. I am not sure what the stock throttle body uses.

Yeah im talking about the vacuum under the intake manifold that the valve cover connects too. The one on the TB is suppose to go to the emission crap.

I use two catch cans, reason being is if I get excessive blow by in one can I will know which side right away that the problem is on and for a plug I used a small piece of rubber hose with a plug or you can put a short bolt in hose too ( you don't see it under there)

Yea i was thinkin of just doin the bolt in a hose trick. But thats gonna be a little heavy and using a hose clamp would be hard to do...

im gonna go ahead and use either a T-fitting or a Y-fitting to connect both valvecovers together from there plug into one of the ports of my catchcan, the other port off the catch I will run to my K&N that way I am getting vacuum suction and pulling any oil off both valvecovers to the can before getting into my manifold. as for the port on the bottom of the manifold I will plug this off with a rubber cap sold in autoparts store.
