Hey guys. So getting my 1st oil changed and possibly new pads so since it supercharged.... anything different I should do? I read on paxtons website they say just change ur vehicles oil regularly and no worries.... just wanting to make sure

Im trying to figure out how often to get a stock truck's oil changed i bought the truck at 82000 mile it said the next one wasnt due till 87000 it seems a lil to long

Some oil shops state our trucks have to use the super duper "Mobil 1 Extended Life Oil Filter" and that allows for vehicles to change oil every 5,000 instead of 3,000 but at the end of the day it's your call.

take an oil sample bout 3 times in a row & see what your oil & engine is doin.

thats why i do oil changes at 4500 to 5000 miles

My main question was is there changing supercharger oil??

I am not familiar with the paxton set up. Does it have a self contained oil system or does it share engine oil? As far as the oil change interval, I do every 2500 to 3000 miles or once a year since I don't drive it much, but when I do I let the truck know who is in charge!!:burnout:

Lol that right!!! See that where im not sure I think its shared but Idk for sure...

Look at the bottom of the supercharger unit and see if there is an oil line that runs to the block or the oil pan on the engine. Should be the return line and if that is the case than it would be shared with engine oil and an engine oil change should be all that is required. Maybe some of the other Paxton guys will chime in with some assistance for you.

Ok yea man ill check and get back HOPEFULLY OTHER PAXTON GUYS WILL CHIME IN...hint hint lol :D

had a paxton on my iron v-10, the engine lube oil cools and lubes the supercharger. there was a small screen in the line just before the supercharger you can check that to make sure its clear.

I change mine every 2k because it is cheap insurance and these engines are not cheap. It is not my daily.
