Oil change too high

the first oil change @ a local lube place in BG with synthetic was $81.00...... :embarassed:
but once i priced around, found it to be better than most..........

That's what I did when the truck had 1700 miles. I was having a part replaced anyway and wanted to get an oil change on the books with a dealer while the miles are low. CYA. Guess I got spoiled with those $29.95 changes on my Hemi.

Just Monday I was charged a grand total of $100.77. I could have swore they said $89.95 like three months ago. But I do it for warranty reasons.

i got my oil changed with mobile 1 a factory oil filter + rotate and ballance for $124.00 with tax at a dealer. of course i work there and i am the parts manager. i dont trust my truck to just anyone. be careful the econ lubs and jiffy lubs hire the cheapest high school kid with no training to do oil canges + they install the cheapest filters on your vhicles, unless you ask for a better filter (witch you will pay more). the dealer trains and has factory certified tech for these tucks as well as the viper cars or any other special vehicle, so whould i pay more to have a factory trained tech work on my truck with factory parts, of course.
