Hey folks. I've decided against the 'gravity method' and have started to look for an oil changing system.

I searched this forum and the..ahem...other one, but couldn't find anthing. A quick Google found me this little guy:

http://www.liquidvac.com/

It's reasonably priced, and looks sturdy enough. The only problem is the largest container they have is 8 quarts.

I'm going to email them right now and ask about a 10 qt. version, and maybe the possibiity of a Viper logo on it. :) It'd be a niche market version, but with the proper pimping, I'm sure we can move enough units to make it worth their while. There are A LOT of Viper engines out there.....and they all need oil.

In the meantime, does anyone know of any other systems like this?
A 12V or 110V pump?
Something that does 10-12 quarts?

Wommy has a fumoto valve for about 30 bucks. Works for me.

I have always been comfortable with a magnetic plug that I can pull out, clean, and make a judgement call on "is this more shavings than last time?". That kind of stuff isn't readily available with pumps and valves.:dontknow: It gives me just a little more confidence in the condition of my moving parts...:burnout:

The Fumoto is great! It makes changing oil sooooo much cleaner! Just a simple check valve allows you to shut-off the draining oil if your container is getting full, get another one, and resume draining. No mess. I've got one on both of my vehicles.

And like Silver said, ya still gotta change the filter.;)
